Questions: (for personal reflection and/or to discuss with others)
1. What does the passage say about God? people? life?
2. What might God be wanting me to understand from this passage?
3. How might God want me to respond?

Note of parents: Consider brief discussions at meals, bedtime, in the car, etc. using these Scripture passages.

Questions: (For personal reflection and/or to discuss with others)

1. What does the passage say about God? about people? about life? How might the original hearers/readers have understood it and responded?

2. How does the passage speak to me? What can I learn from it and how can or should I respond to it?

Note to Parents: Consider brief discussions at meals, bedtime, in the care, etc. using these Scripture passages.

Challenge to all COTC members and friends: Consider connecting to others (family member, friend, small group) for a time this Winter or Spring (you decide when, where, how often) to interact with God and each other through the Scriptures. Just go ahead and do it, using this page (also available in the weekly bulletin in worship). If you need help either connecting to or starting a “group,” call the church office at 835-5901.

Suggested format for group discussions: (2-12 people for 10-120 min.)

  1. Connecting - refreshments, catch up with and pray for each other.
  2. Studying - use the questions above to "dig into" one or more of these passages, sharing observations, insights, and application.
